Options we can help you evaluate
| Option | What it is | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Recycled polyester or nylon | Face fabrics, linings, fleece and insulation made with recycled content | Recycled content percentage and certificate chain |
| PFAS-free DWR | Water-repellent finishes without per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances | Performance, wash durability and rules in your target markets |
| Certified materials | Fabrics or finishes with certifications such as GRS, OEKO-TEX or bluesign, where the supplier holds them | Certificate numbers, scope and validity for the exact fabric |
| Solution-dyed fabrics | Colour added at fibre stage, using less water | Colour range and minimums |
| Durability-led design | Reinforcements, repairable details and timeless design reduce replacement | Repair policy and spare parts |
Certifications belong to the supplier and the specific material. We do not claim a certification we cannot document.
How we approach claims
- Ask for certificates and test reports for each material before it goes into a public claim
- Keep marketing wording aligned with what the supply chain can prove
- Review regional rules on PFAS and textile claims; several markets are restricting PFAS, so confirm current requirements for yours
